What should I send?
| Item | Example |
|---|---|
| Product and profile | ASA/PVC sheet, 6 square waves |
| Colour | Blue, red, dark grey, orange or chocolate |
| Thickness | 2.5 mm or 3.0 mm |
| Quantity | List of sheet lengths, or the roof drawing and size |
| Accessories | Ridge, eave and wall pieces, screws |
| Destination | Country and port, or delivery address in Vietnam |
How do I work out the quantity?
Use the effective width, not the full width, because sheets overlap. For each row of sheets running from ridge to eave, the number of sheets is the roof length divided by the effective width, rounded up.
| Product | Full width | Effective width | Wave height |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 square waves | 1.08 m | 1.00 m | 32 mm |
| 6 square waves | 1.06 m | 0.95 m | 34 mm |
| 11 square waves | 1.05 m | 1.00 m | 20 mm |
| Roof tile | 1.05 m | 0.96 m | tile pitch 219 mm |
Example: a roof slope 10 m long and 6 m from ridge to eave, covered with 6-wave sheets. 10 ÷ 0.95 = 10.5, so you need 11 sheets, each about 6 m long. Add the eave overhang to the length. Screws: 4 – 5 sets per m², so a 60 m² slope needs 240 – 300 sets.
Roof tiles are cut in multiples of the 219 mm tile pitch, so give us the slope length and we will round it to the nearest pitch.
