Santiago has shipped roofing to the US since 2025. US importers and contractors order by sending the profile, color, thickness, sheet lengths in feet or meters, accessories and the destination port. Sheets are cut to length in Vietnam and shipped by container; duties and any additional tariffs on goods from Vietnam should be confirmed with a licensed customs broker before ordering.
What to send
- Profile: 5, 6 or 11 waves, or Spanish tile.
- Color and thickness (2.5 or 3.0 mm).
- Sheet lengths in feet or meters.
- Accessories: ridge, hip, eave, wall pieces, screw caps.
- Port of discharge and delivery terms.

Container planning
Sheet length decides how the container is loaded. Agree the maximum length before cutting; very long sheets save end laps but must fit the container with packing.
Duties and documents
The US has no free trade agreement with Vietnam, and tariff rates on imports change. A licensed customs broker can confirm the HTS classification and current duty for plastic roofing sheets. Santiago provides the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin.
Santiago – a leading exporter of ASA/PVC roofing from Vietnam
Santiago roofing is produced and loaded into containers at our factory in Vietnam. It has been exported to India since 2023, Thailand since 2024 and the USA since 2025. Every export shipment comes with a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and a certificate of origin (C/O) issued by Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade, which importers use to claim the duty preference of their trade agreement.
