Santiago makes three ASA/PVC corrugated sheet profiles. The 5-wave sheet (1.0 m cover, 32 mm ribs) is the one for houses, verandas and shops. The 6-wave sheet (0.95 m cover, 34 mm ribs) has the deepest channels and goes on warehouses and long roofs in heavy rain. The 11-wave sheet (1.0 m cover, 20 mm ribs) gives a flatter look for carports, canopies and farms. A dealer can stock all three in one 40 ft container, which holds about 5,000 m of sheet.

What are the three sheet types?
| Profile | Full width | Cover width | Rib height | Thickness |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 5 square waves | 1,080 mm | 1,000 mm | 32 mm | 2.5 – 3.0 mm |
| 6 square waves | 1,060 mm | 950 mm | 34 mm | 2.0, 2.5 or 3.0 mm |
| 11 square waves | 1,050 mm | 1,000 mm | 20 mm | 2.0, 2.5 or 3.0 mm |
All three have an ASA top layer over a rigid PVC core, come in the five standard colours (dark grey, red, blue, orange and chocolate) and are cut to the length you order. The 10-year warranty covers sheets from 2.5 mm up, so stock 2.5 or 3.0 mm even in the profiles that can be made at 2.0 mm. Full specifications: 5 square waves, 6 square waves, 11 square waves.
Which customers ask for which profile?
| Profile | Who buys it | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 5 waves | Home owners, shops, small builders | One sheet covers exactly 1 m of roof length, so counting sheets is simple, and the ribs look neat from below |
| 6 waves | Warehouses, factories, fertiliser stores, livestock buildings, typhoon areas | The 34 mm ribs carry more water on long slopes and make the sheet stiffer across its width |
| 11 waves | Carport and canopy installers, workshops, poultry and pig farms | The fine 20 mm ribs give a flatter underside; also used to repair existing 11-wave roofs |
Tell customers one limit of the 11-wave sheet. Its channels are shallow, so it should not go on very long, nearly flat roofs; sell them the 6-wave sheet for those.

How much roof does one container cover?
A 40 ft container holds about 5,000 m of sheet. To see how much roof you can sell from it, multiply the metres of each profile by its cover width:
| Profile | Metres of sheet | Cover width | Roof area covered |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 waves | 2,500 m | 1.00 m | 2,500 m² |
| 6 waves | 1,500 m | 0.95 m | 1,425 m² |
| 11 waves | 1,000 m | 1.00 m | 1,000 m² |
| Total | 5,000 m | | 4,925 m² |
This split is only an example for a store selling to houses, warehouses and farms. Colours, profiles and accessories can share one container, so set the split by what your customers buy and send it to Santiago with the sheet lengths you want. Production and loading take about 5 days after the order is confirmed.

What else goes in the same container?
- Screws with ASA caps: 4 – 5 sets per m² of roof, so the 4,925 m² in the example needs about 19,700 – 24,600 sets.
- Ridge and edge pieces in the same colours as the sheets.
- Skylight sheets, made flat, 6-wave and 11-wave. The 11-wave skylight sheet has the same 20 mm rib height as the 11-wave ASA/PVC sheet. The 6-wave skylight sheet has 28 mm ribs and a different cover width from the 6-wave ASA/PVC sheet, so ask Santiago to confirm the match before you order it.
How can I check profiles and colours before the first order?
Ask for physical samples of each profile and colour. Samples are free; you pay only the courier. Colours on a screen never quite match the real sheet, and a cut edge shows the ASA layer on top of the PVC core, so your own buyers can see the two layers for themselves.

Frequently asked questions
What types of PVC roofing sheet does Santiago make?
Three ASA/PVC corrugated profiles: 5 square waves (1.0 m cover, 32 mm ribs), 6 square waves (0.95 m cover, 34 mm ribs) and 11 square waves (1.0 m cover, 20 mm ribs), plus roof tiles and skylight sheets.
Which PVC roofing sheet is best for a long warehouse roof?
The 6-wave sheet. Its 34 mm ribs carry the most rainwater, and the 11-wave sheet should not be used on very long, nearly flat roofs.
Can one container hold several profiles and colours?
Yes. Colours, profiles and accessories can share one 40 ft container, which holds about 5,000 m of sheet.
What thickness should a dealer stock?
2.5 or 3.0 mm. The 10-year warranty starts at 2.5 mm.
