Mr Quyen - Santiago. Posted 11/10/2026
Santiago cuts every sheet and tile to the lengths on the order, so the length list is the part to check most carefully before confirming. The other checks are a thickness of at least 2.5 mm (needed for the 10-year warranty), tile lengths in multiples of 219 mm, colours chosen from physical samples, the accessory list, the screw count and the certificate of origin your broker needs.

What does a Santiago quotation list?
The written quotation, sent by email or WhatsApp, lists the product, profile, colour, thickness, sheet lengths, quantity, unit price, packing, delivery point and payment terms. The order starts when the buyer confirms it, or signs a contract for larger orders, and any later change is agreed in writing.
The seven checks
- Thickness: 2.5 mm or more. Santiago gives the 10-year warranty only from 2.5 mm and does not recommend thinner sheets.
- Length list: every sheet is cut for your roof, so check each length before you confirm.
- Roof tiles: lengths in multiples of the 219 mm tile step.
- Colours: chosen from physical samples, not from a screen.
- Accessories: ridge, hip, eave and end pieces counted from the roof plan.
- Screws and caps: 4 – 5 sets per m², which is also a condition of the warranty.
- Documents: the certificate of origin form your customs broker asks for, for example Form D for ASEAN.
